Morecambe Bay Wills Community Fund

The Morecambe Bay Wills Community Fund 2025

We are launching the Morecambe Bay Wills Community Fund. But what is it, why are we doing it, what are the key dates and how can you get involved?

What is the Morecambe Bay Wills Community Fund?

At Morecambe Bay Wills & Estates, we believe business should be about more than contracts and services. It should be about people, place, and giving back. So we are launching the Morecambe Bay Wills Community Fund 2025 — a dedicated pot of £7,500, to be shared between 30 awards of £250 each.

This fund is all about helping grassroots charities, community groups, and local projects across Lancashire, Cumbria and North Wales. Whether it’s supporting a youth club, keeping a community kitchen running, or funding a wellbeing session, these small amounts can make a huge difference.

This is our way of saying thank you to the communities that support us. Small groups from the following areas are eligible to nominate themselves:

    • North Lancashire – within 20 miles of Galgate

    • South Cumbria – within 15 miles of Kendal

    • North Wales – within 20 miles of Conwy

Why are we doing this?

When founder Nicola Combe set up the firm, she had a vision to give back to the local community and decided to support charities who support so many in the area. To date, we’ve given almost £40,000 from our donations of 5% from every invoice.

As our company has grown, we have made a decision to share or success with others by pledging a share of our profits. Some goes directly to our fabulous team and some to create the Morecambe Bay Wills Community Fund – and distributed to grassroots organisations

Nicola says “We are privileged to work with families across three counties, helping them secure their future. It feels only right that we share some of our success with the very communities who support us. This is our way of saying thank you and making a real difference on the ground. A lot of local organisations are going to benefit — and we couldn’t be prouder of that.
